Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a happy Mormon.

About Me

Life is good! My wonderful wife, my two great kids and I love living in Colorado and enjoying what it has to offer. I grew up in Idaho and have lived all over the West but we've finally landed in the right place. Being a pharmacist pays the bills, but my family is what I live for. We like hitting the pool, fierce competition on the Wii, spending time in the mountains and just being together. I served as a missionary in Northern Mexico and still have a love for the folks I met there. I grew up with three younger brothers and couldn't have asked for better parents. My brothers, dad and I look for excuses to meet up at various locations around the country to play golf together. When I'm not working, with my family, or serving in the church, I also love to race cars and put in wrench time on my weekend racer.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Mormon church and looking back on my youth I am really thankful for that. My parents set great examples and put in a lot of work in teaching me and my brothers principles and standards that would carry us through our teenage years and into adulthood. Through the years my beliefs and faith in the teachings of the church have been strengthened as I've put what I learned growing up to the test during difficult times. What I know is that the complete and beautiful truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ is taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There is so much hope and peace in this. I lean on these teachings daily and it give so much perspective to my life. I know that my Savior knows me personally and that wants the best for me and my family. I know that his sacrifice makes it possible to be forgiven for my many flaws and work to be together with my family forever. There is amazing power in knowing that God has given the authority to unite families forever to his servants on this earth and also knowing that there is a living prophet today just as in there was in the time of the bible. Being a Mormon makes life complete.

How I live my faith

My family and I love going to our church meetings on Sunday. The kids enjoy their classes with the other kids their age and have built great friendships and learned many principles of the gospel tailored to their ages. My wife serves in the church teaching one of the children's classes and I help out with some of the administrative functions of keeping our local congregation organized. The strength and brotherhood that we feel gathering together weekly is rejuvenating. If you haven't been to Mormon Sunday meetings - COME ON OUT! We'd love to have you!
