Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in good ol' Nebraska. I served a mission in Uruguay. I enjoy mountain biking and I sell wood for a living. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Jason and I'm a Mormon! I am a weekend warrior mountain biker in Nebraska. Sounds crazy but it's true. I enjoy going to the movies and trying out different restaurants with my wife and friends. I am a father of 1 daughter and 2 boys. They are my pride and joy! My daughter is getting to that age where Dad is not so cool anymore, but the boys still think I can do no wrong. I'll take it while I can get it. I married the greatest woman on the planet and it has been the best decision I have ever made. Marriage is a wonderful thing. To make a buck, I manage a wholesale distribution center and do sales. It's challenging, hard work, and a lot of fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and been a member my whole life. I suppose I've always known the church was true. My parents raised me well and taught me all the truths and principles of the gospel. It was okay to rely on their faith while I was young, but they encouraged me to find out for myself if all that I had learned in the church was true. I have prayed and asked God for myself if these things are true. Could they be true? I testify to you that they are true. I remain a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints today because I know it is the only church on the earth that has all the truths from our Heavenly Father. We have a living prophet today that communicates directly with God to receive revelation for us. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture containing the words of prophets that lived in the Americas. It is another testament of Jesus Christ and goes hand in hand with the bible. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he actually saw God the Father and Jesus Christ face to face. He restored the true church to the earth. Because I have received an answer to my prays, I know it's true and that why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I hold a leadership position in a men's organization of the church. I help organize gospel lessons on Sundays, visits to members, and encourage unity within the group. I try to walk the talk everyday of my life. Not just at church, but at work and life in general. I'm definitely not perfect and make many stumbles along the way. However, I know this is the right thing for me to do with my life.
