Hi I'm Marcus

I grew up in Denver Colorado. I love to work with my hands, and play lots and lots of sports. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a full time student studying accounting, and I work part time. I can be a bit of a perfectionist, and be too hard on my self sometimes which is why I am glad too have family so we can talk about it. Sometimes I am a bit of a workahololice because I can only depend on me. Because of this trait I force my self to remember family and how important they are to me especially my future wife, which we will be getting married this year. I love to hang out with friends and just hang loose and have fun. I love to laugh and have a good time because life is just to short not too. I love to play football and basketball; actually I really just love to play all kinds of sports, but when I am able to play football I feel completely free. Mountain biking is a big hobby of mine especially in the fall season.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to become Mormon for many different reasons so I will name a couple top reasons. As a young man of 20 who grew up without a father...I searched for a father. I grew up in different religions, but never really knew the personal friendship and fathership that come with knowing our Father in heaven and even if we don't know him he is still our father. I searched for someone to be proud of me, I searched for someone to make happy, I searched for happiness and could never truly be happy. Knowing that I have a Father in heaven who loves me regardless and who will never leave and who you can always speak with...He is all we need. This is true happiness. I was baptized simply by obedience. Through studying I realized that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored Church with the Authority since well forever and will go on forever. The Gospel of Jesus Christ in true form with all of its blessings and gifts prepares and challenges all to become someone you never thought was possible. Truly The Gospel of Jesus Christ can change and do all that we think is impossible. There are many other reasons to why I chose to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints But Christ is the center of my decision.

How I live my faith

Striving to walk in the ways of the Lord is the hardest but most rewarding challenge that anyone could ever do. I take life one day at a time, and that's all I can do. I can't try to do too much and wont do too little but simply the best that I can learning from mistakes that I or others have made. I am not perfect and know that I will never be perfect, but too be able to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me be that man that our Father in Heaven wants me too be by the spirit and other additional tools that we have here on earth.
