Hi I'm Bill

I retired from a career in telecommunications and now I'm a naturalist volunteer at a state park. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived and worked in five states and one country outside of the United States. I retired after 39 years in the telecommunication industry. I have a kind wife, 5 children, and 7 grandchildren so far. My favorite things to do are hiking, reading, gardening and providing service for others. Most of my time now is spent with my family, doing church work and spending time at a state park as a naturalist volunteer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family that are mostly members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but I didn't have my own testimony that it was the true church of Jesus Christ until after I returned home from my military service. I decided to find out if it was true through studying the scriptures and prayer. I age 24 found that it was true for myself and my knowledge and testimony of that truth has grown since then. I have never looked back.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually trying to live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am committed to my family and serve in whatever church responsibility that I am ask to do. I try to be kind and serve others regardless of who they are or what their beliefs are.
