Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a NICU nurse, I run, I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a wife, a mom to three boys, a nurse that works the nightshift...I love to eat cookies, they are my weakness. I have an obsession with scrapbook paper and someday would love to scrapbook the pictures I will someday print off. I have discovered that I love to run and have conquered three half-marathons this year, I also like to swim (leisurely) and go on bike rides. I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I can't resist a camp fire when smores are involved. I love to savor a good book. I have been to Europe and can't wait to go back with my husband, maybe when the kids are grown... ;)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that belongs to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew-up learning and living the Gospel, going to Primary, Mutual, attending Seminary & Institute and now continuing in my faith that was established by my parent's example. I developed my own testimony that continues to grow stronger everyday. I know my Father-in-Heaven lives and loves me, I know that he knows me and cares about me. I know that my brother and Savior, Jesus Christ lives and that his self-less sacrifice made it possible for me to be with my family forever. I find incredible peace in these truths.

How I live my faith

Going to church on Sunday is such a blessing for me, I love the feeling I feel when I am there and the inspiration I receive from the Holy Ghost as I reflect on what I have learned. I love the Visiting Teaching program, I have found life-long friends and look forward every month to the visits I make and the ones I receive. I have a calling right now that lets me participate in the Cubscout program, it is fun to help these young boys learn and grow.
