Hi I'm Brendan

I grew up with morals and values however I did not have a family with a background in any religion. I now am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Brendan, I'm a student, a college graduate, a father of three, a husband, a brother, and a son and I'm a Mormon. Splitting my time between a full time job, part time job, graduate school, helping with my family and serving in the church has been exhausting, however, I know that heavenly father will only allow me to experience the trials that I can make it through.

Why I am a Mormon

Years ago a close friend introduced me to the church. He invited me to a dance as a youth "to meet some nice girls." His example of a great friend that never pushed me into joining his church was very influentual in my life. While our friendship grow I began to test out other faiths and churchs to see if they were right for me. Like unto Joseph Smith, I never felt that those churches were right. As time moved on I came to church with my close friend a few more times and visited with the missionaries. I knew that eventually I would join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Once my now best friend went on his mission, I went off to college and had typical college experiences. Until one night while contimplating my direction of my life I came across the pamphlets and Book of Mormon that I was given those previous years. While reading Joseph Smith's journey and first vision, I was reminded of the desire to join the lords church. Within a few years later I was able to finalize that decision and have been happier ever since.

How I live my faith

I am priveleged to currently be called as a Ward Mission Leader. This allows me the opportunity to spend time with the young men who have chosen to serve a full time mission for the Lords church. This has allowed me to spend time with very dedicated and spiritual men as they bring the gospel to those who have many questions and are looking for direction. Since I was once visited by the missionaries and eventually converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it has been a pleasure to help to answer questions and befriend the many brothers and sisters of my community. Outside of my callings and obligations I enjoy spending time with my ward and the wonderful brothers and sisters that choose to attend. Their friendship and understanding helps me and my family grow together and press forward throughout the rest of the week. The experiences gained by weekly attendance has enlightened my life and allowed me to grow happier each day knowing that I am growing closer to my Heavenly Father and his beloved son Jesus Christ.
