Hi I'm Stefan

I love the water, I ride a bullet bike, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was baptized when I was 11 years old into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Even though I wasn't "born" into the church, I have always grown up in it and lived close to it's values and standards. I love anything with a motor; cars, dirt bikes, trucks, bullet bikes. Around the same time I was baptized, there was a spark of interest from my older brother. I looked up to him SO much and he loved cars. Ever since then, that's almost all we talk about, and my dad taught me how to save money so that the day I turned 16, I could buy a car. I started with a 97 Jeep Wrangler with a couple grand in mods (33" tires, 4.5" lift, stereo system, it was the bees knees.) Sold that and moved on to a 2004 Mazda RX-8, bought it stock and let the modding begin! (Tein s-tech springs, 50 shot of nitrous, Greddy catback, custom intake, high performance clutch/light weight flywheel, and a redline of 9k kept me pretty satisfied.) Lastly, before I left to serve the Lord I purchased a 2007 Yamaha R6 (mods? heeeeeeeeeeck to the no, it's plenty fast) I love having the responsibility of being a safe rider example to others on the road. There is no better feeling that the open air around you as you ride destination to destination.

Why I am a Mormon

Always grown up around it, but had a strong desire to know for myself. As I began my "search for the truth" I looked to Joseph Smith as a starting point. I figured he was in the same situation as all of us, he just wanted to know what this life was all about. I followed his example by reading and asking our Father in heaven if this is his true church. I received a personal testification through the Holy Ghost that this is his church, once again restored to the earth. I wouldn't trade the feelings I have had from this gospel for anything.

How I live my faith

I lived a normal kid, "good" life. I wasn't sure what direction I was going in, I tried getting into the United States Naval Academy, got close but didn't make the final cut. Using my plan B, I tried studying business at Dixie State College. There I met someone that would change my life forever. It was this girl who was starting to take the missionary discussions. We started casually dating, nothing too serious ya know? But the more we tried to be away from eachother, the more difficult it became. We grew very close to eachother spiritually, and I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to support her during the discussions. The day she was baptized, I knew of a surety that my purpose at this time in my life was to serve the Lord as a missionary of his church. I began my papers, and here I am today... serving in the Madrid, Spain mission for the full period of two years, and I wouldn't have it any other way. This last year, my life changed SO much. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve, and this is how I live my faith.
