Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother of 2 crazy boys, a sister, a daughter... a lot of things to a lot of different people and I wouldn't change it for anything! Life is busy -and crazy at times, but always fun and worth every moment! I enjoy photography... so much so that I'm going to school for it. I've found much joy in pursuing my passion of photography. I thoroughly enjoy capturing all of life's sweet moments from before life's first breath to the little (and big!) moments that give our lives purpose and meaning. I put my whole heart into every moment I photograph. I've been a photographer at heart since I was a young child but not until recent years have I allowed myself to really explore, learn and grow in this passion of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life. I've had a testimony of the truthfulness of this Gospel for a long time but it wasn't until I met my husband that my testimony was truley tested. When I met my husband, he was a devout Catholic. When we were married, we both chose to be fully supportive and understanding of each other's commitments and beliefs in our faiths. All throughout our marriage, we shared our beliefs and learned from each other. As time passed, through his own reflection and prayer, my husband chose to join this church as well! I was so happy that he embraced these truths that for so long I had known but even more so that he had come to this decision on his own. Throughout my husband's conversion process, I was able to view this Gospel through a non-member's perspective which only strengthened my testimony. I know this church is God's true church. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of the Lord and restored the Gospel in these latter days. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true account of generations of people who had spiritual struggles and triumphs just as we do today. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and provided a way for us to return to Heaven to live with Him and our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I enjoy my membership in this church. I enjoy learning from my fellow church members. I enjoy the love and support I receive from my church family. And I enjoy teaching, loving and supporting my church family as well! I try every day to follow God's commandments as best as I can. I know that through obeying the commendments I will be a happier person and a better wife and mother.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Stephanie
My husband and I are in the process of preparing ourselves to be sealed to each other and our children for all eternity. This is something I, personally, have hoped and prayed for all my life. I believe that families can be together forever and the way to make sure that happens is in the temple. Show more Show less
