Hi I'm DeAnn

I am a stay at home mom of 3 beautiful, rambunctious kids! I love to run and enjoy anything outdoors. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom of 3 kids. I stay at home and enjoy nurturing and teaching my children. We read together, play the wii, ride bikes and play at the park. I also need "my time" too. My hobbies are running outdoors. I am actually running a ultra marathon relay in 3 weeks which is 190 miles but with 11 other teammates. I also enjoy reading novels and going out to lunch with the girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS (mormon) home. At the age of 8 I did decided to get baptized. I was born of goodly parents who taught me right from wrong. I attended church every sunday and learned from my teachers about the gospel. I knew it was true. I felt the warm spirit in my heart. I also was able to go on amazing tour in high school where we went back east and went to all the places where Joseph Smith had lived and where the saints lived also. I had the amazing opprutunity to go the Sacred Grove where Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ the spirt was so strong there and strengthend my testimony of the truthfulness of this church. I know that God lives and loves each one of us and knows our sorrows and pains and is there for us. Prayer is such a powerful tool and we need to do it often. I am thankful for my temple marriage with my husband and how we can be and eternal family if we keep our covanants and live worthily. I can't imagine life without my loved ones and am grateful for this knowledge that I have that we can one day return and live with God and our families

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and my calling in the church is to teach once a month to the sisters (woman 18 and older) about gospel principles. This calling I really struggle with because of my personality I am very shy and quiet. I have found that this calling has really helped me in my life and helped me reach out to others and get out of my comfort zone. I still struggle each time I have to get up to teach but I pray for the Lords help to get me through. I also visit teach once a month with another sister in my ward and we go visit 3 other sisters. We of course chat like most woman do but we also share a message out ot the Ensign magazine that we get in the mail once a month. We help out the sisters anyway we can we look out for each other if they need help watching thier kids or need a meal brought in because they had surgery or had a baby we are there for them and help make thier burdans light.
