Hi I'm Kyle Smith

George Mason University, Family, God, The South. Now serving in the Atlanta Georgia Mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kyle and I’m 19. I was born and raised in the good old south. I’m even serving in the south. Currently I’m in the Atlanta Georgia mission and Loving it so Far. I decided to come on my mission to more fully understand the gospel and I feel that God has given me so much it’s the least I can do. My family and Friends are absolutely everything to me. They have brought so much happiness into my life. Some of the things a enjoy doing with my friends is hiking, white water canoeing, camping, wakeboarding, and just being at the lake with me family. I have an undying love for music, I listen to pretty much everything and enjoy exploring other artists. I just finished up my freshmen year at George Mason University. There, I am currently majoring in Biology. I plan on returning there when I get off my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to the church. I have always loved the church and what it teaches. I know with all my heart that the gospel blesses families because I have seen it bless my own. The standards I have kept, have really made my life enjoyable and I have been able to live it out to the fullest. I have a strong testimony in the Book of Mormon, I know that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know it bears the same truths as the Bible. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and was directed to restore the gospel upon the earth. So far the mission has been the most spiritual event in my life. The mission is strengthening my testimony everyday. I invite all to come unto Christ and know more of the restored gospel. I know that if you ask God in prayer, if the things which the church teaches are true you will receive an answer. And if you choose to follow the example of Christ you will be blessed, just as I have been.

How I live my faith

When I wake up every morning a say a prayer. I ask God to get me through another day. I keep that prayer in my heart and it allows me to always remember who I am, and what I stand for.

What is faith?

"Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power." Show more Show less
