Hi I'm Tait

I'm a reader, a writer, a fighter, an artists and yeah, I'm a Mormon

About Me

About me... well, I'm not sure there's really much to tell. I like writing, reading, fencing, fighting, drawing, collage and all sorts of other things. I have an account on DeviantArt that I follow more then facebook, I love anime, books of all sorts and I love to learn more about people. Mostly, I just love to create with a little sparring on the side... and a good book, but who doesn't love that?

Why I am a Mormon

I guess I'm a Mormon mostly because it's the only religion that makes sense to me. It's the only one that doesn't leave people behind, it's the only one with a reason behind all of it's rules, and it's the only religion that doesn't hate on other religions. Lastly, it's full of people that are darn near cannonized saints in my book, and I've personaly found it to be the only true church. The fact that I was born into it helps though ;)

How I live my faith

As of right now, all I do is live my faith. I'm currently serving a mission, teaching others about what it is that we believe in and trying to help them see what it is I see in this religion. When I'm not mission-ing, I try and live by that golden rule to do unto others, not only as you would have done unto yourself, but as Christ would do. The practical upshot of it all is that I'm constantly helping people with things they need a helping hand with.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Tait
Well, it really all comes down to the Book of Mormon. Either it's true, Joseph Smith was a prophet, he really saw God, and he really recieved the athority to run the only true church on earth, or he didn't. The only way you can know for sure is to try it. Come to church, read the Book of Mormon, and then really and truly pray about it, asking if it's true or not. There's no trickity-trick to it, there's no loop-hole, no shortcut. If you pray about it truly and sincerly, and then you act on that prayr, you'll know that it's true. It is, without a doubt, the only sure thing in this life, save death... and maybe taxes. Show more Show less
