Hi I'm Eric

I'm an avid mountain biker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In addition to mountain biking, I also love hiking, backpacking and camping. But most of all, I love enjoying these activities and others with my family. We have a blast together!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's church here on this earth, hence the name The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This Church is just a latter-day extension of the ancient church that Christ established during his mortal ministry. How do I know this to be true? Well, it is quite simple. I studied the gospel principles, prayed, asked Heavenly Father if they were true and the Holy Ghost confirmed to me and continues to confirm to me that these things are true. And the thing that I love is that anyone can gain this same knowledge if they study these things and ask Heavenly Father if they are true. If done in sincerity, any person can gain this surety.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be more Christ like in how I treat others and myself. Trust me, I'm not perfect and I make lots of mistakes, but life is about learning and making positive change in your own life and in the life of those around you. I feel that one of my greatest contributions to this world is teaching my children to be loving, caring and responsible individuals. Hopefully, I'm succeeding with this aspiration! Additionally, I volunteer many hours of my time to the young men of the congregation that I attend. We spend a lot of time together camping, hiking, biking and learning life skills that I hope they will retain for the rest of their lives. I feel privileged to work with them and we learn much from each other.
