Hi I'm Stu

I like to dream big. I am an avid skiier and wakeboarder. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life and all of its adventures. I greatly enjoy the outdoors and especially snow and water sports. Growing up I had the chance to learn how to snow and water ski at a young age and I have stuck with them ever since. I absolutely love sports and in high school I played football and ran track. My family means the world to me and I am so grateful for their support and encouragement. It's my mom and dad, and my sister, so we are a pretty tight nit group. Some of the greatest memories I have are playing catch with my dad, making food with my mom, and playing with my sister. I also love any kind of music and am trying to learn how to play more instruments, music is something that is definitely a part of my life and it can be such an inspiration. I have studied at the University of Utah in the past and just took care of some generals. I have had a chance in the past to work for a landscaping company and an up and coming law firm, both of these places have given me some great life experiences and I appreciate the great employers, who taught me how to work hard. The best lesson of working hard though comes from my Dad, he would always work with us as kids, and always work to get things done. Some things that are really important to me are determination, integrity, and honesty. I am all about trying to live life to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I was one of the many that was born and raised in the church, but there definetely came a time when I had to figure out if this was the thing for me. Growing up I really enjoyed the people I was around in the church and admittedly for a while I would go to church to just see my friends. I had great examples in my parents who encouraged me to really find out if this church is true. I took that to heart when I was about fifteen and decided to read and pray about the Book of Mormon, the answer I got was really just a peaceful and assuring feeling and since then I have continued to see the great blessings that the gospel has brought to my life, and I can't deny the great experiences that this church has brought to me. I know that this is Christ's true church and that the Book of Mormon is true, mainly because of the peace that they have brought into my life and I know that I am the happiest when I am trying to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I love the possibilities to learn and grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ and I seem to be learning new things all the time.

How I live my faith

I try to just be an example to people around and always try to do the right thing, and I try to always be a light, though I am not perfect I am trying to do my best. Right now I have the opportunity to be around a lot of people and I have to really pay attention to the way I act, so I have to be aware of that. In the area where I am now, I have the chance to teach people more about this great gospel, and get to see the great change and hope that enters into people's lives as they realize that all the that the church offers can be theirs.
