Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a planner, a dreamer, and a student of life. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love having order in everything I do. I love to create, and I always put myself last. I love making goals, even if I come no where near accomplishing them. I love my family and friends, and am so appreciative of all they have taught me. I love learning about ANYTHING, especially how things work and how to do things. I am fascinated with carpentry and construction, the law, finance, and the arts of language, design, and music. I grew up in Michigan, attended a university in Idaho, then relocated to Arizona for a year before leaving to serve a full-time mission in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Upon returning, I hope to work toward fulfilling my life-long goals of marrying in God's temple and starting an eternal family of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know there's no other way to live that will bring such joy into my life. I choose to follow the beliefs of this Church daily, because I know that through this religion I can continually communicate with my Father in Heaven. I can know the fullness God's perfect plan for me and His unconditional love for me. I have access to the complete influence of His Spirit and to the completeness of His power through worthy holders of the priesthood, both of which are available only through this divinely REVEALED and RESTORED gospel. And perhaps most importantly, through basic gospel principles, I know exactly what to do to find comfort, strength, and forgiveness through my Savior Jesus Christ. Because I'm a Mormon, I see everything through the light of the gospel. The principles Jesus Christ teaches in the Bible and Book of Mormon have shaped me into a genuinely honest, confident, driven, and compassionate person. Who I am is centered around my relationship with Christ. Because of who He allows and teaches me to be, I love who I am (and who I am becoming). I'm a Mormon because I'm far from perfect, but choosing to follow this gospel is the best choice I can make. No one in this Church claims to be perfect, but we all follow a perfect Savior, and through the Atonement that He freely gave, I can continually progress toward the perfection that I seek. I know I can fully rely on Christ to help me better myself for the benefit of my family, my friends, and the world. If I didn't live a Mormon lifestyle I know I wouldn't be nearly as happy as I am. Through the organization and world-wide consistency of this gospel, I have been blessed since birth to gain understanding of the purposes of the trials I have had, to have a genuine support system, to greatly appreciate and to have family, friends and leaders that influence me for the better, and to understand that God's plan for me is the best plan to follow because it will lead to the best and happiest me possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always remembering my Savior. I pray and read the scriptures daily to learn more about how I can be a better Daughter to my Father in Heaven, and a better instrument in His hands. I try and increase the talents he has given me in order to bless the lives of others around me. I put forth a strong effort to be a good influence on my friends consistently. I strive to be the kind of person that makes those closest to me want to work harder and become better as well. I make a lot of goals, and I mess a lot of them up, but the effort is what will ultimately change me into someone the Lord, my family, my friends and myself will be more proud of. I am eager to serve in church callings and assignments, and I attend the temple often to serve and feel of the quiet peace there.
