Hi I'm Trisha

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi there. I am a proud mother of 3 very different children. I have been married to my darling husband for 15 years. I love teaching, playing with my kids, crafting, going on camp-outs, movies, and spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this great faith... but didn't fully appreciate it until I developed a testimony of my own. I know it is because of my faith in this gospel, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that I have the peace and joy that I have today. I know that the strength that my marriage has centers on our Savior and His teachings. I have studied and prayed over many of the teachings of this faith and I have come to know for myself that these things are true and pure! I know the Book of Mormon is true (I find it hard to make it through the day without reading from it), I know the Bible is also true (as long as it is translated correctly), I know that our family can be together forever. I love being a member of the Lord's church and have been so very blessed through it.

How I live my faith

I live it first by feeling it in my heart, by studying the life our the Savior and then trying to be like him. I have a love for my brothers and sisters here on this earth. I love getting to know my neighbors and serving them. I have the opportunity to teach the tween girls in my ward and I love to have this time with them. I try to live my life well each and everyday. I hope that others can feel and see this by my actions and my language.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Mormon women are just like any other good woman. Some of us like to bake, some don't, Some of us like to craft, or sing, or sew, or can, or play hockey, or ride horses, or whatever.... and some don't. Being a Mormon woman means living our lives to the fullest while striving to please our Father in Heaven. My husband treats me so very well and have NEVER treated me a lesser, in fact he seems to look up to me as I look up to him. My husband works so very hard to provide for our family. He teaches the children and loves them so tenderly (even though they drive him crazy at times). We choose to have me stay home with our children so that I would be able to raise them and be here for them when they need. I have so much joy and peace as we try to live this way. Yes we can't afford much... but the richest of this world are not even close to being worth the same as seeing your children grow and watching them make choices that will lead them toward a happy life.
