Hi I'm Brett

I am a pharmacist that loves to wakeboard! I also have beat the game Contra without dying. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 29 years old and finishing graduate school. I love to wakeboard, hunt, hike and ride motorcycles. I love education and think it is important to always be learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have gone to a lot of churches and I have never felt the spirit like I have at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. I remember when I was younger I went to a conference where the prophet spoke. I felt a very strong confirmation from the spirit that the man speaking had been called of God. I thought, "If God called prophets in the bible, why would he not do the same today"? I have had so many sacred experiences by attending and serving in the church. Knowing what I now know, I am proud to be a mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to serve in the church as much as I can. I feel like it helps me more than others. I help organize classes and activities for young single adults. I get to work with those who are struggling financially, or those who are just having a hard time finding what they are looking for in life. I enjoy the friendships I make while serving those around me, and I appreciate the service others give to me. I love that the church is all run on service. No one is paid for their work. They all do it because they know that it is what our Heavenly Father wants, and because they know there is joy in loving other people.
