Hi I'm Bobby

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

i am a father of 10 children. I was 33 years old when I joined the LDS Church.I worked for the Dept. of the Interior with National Mapping for 28 years. I took early retirement when I was 53. I work on my cars and in my shop tinkering doing different things. I did handyman's work after retirement. I play wally ball 2-3 times a week at the rec center. I was baptized in the Baptist Church as a teenager.

Why I am a Mormon

I was working in the summer of 1966 in NE Montana when 2 young men came to my door. They introduced themselves as missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which didn't mean anything to me. All i knew was they were over in Utah somewhere. They said they had a message for me. I let them in. First discussion they told me the most wonderful story of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ appearing to a 14 year-old boy and about Prophets on the earth today. That the Church that Jesus Christ set up during his earthy ministry has been restored. After taking the discussions and earnestly praying, I came to know the the message was true. August 1966 I joined the Church. It is the greatest thing that I have done in my life.

How I live my faith

My wife and I served 16 months on the Navajo Reservation. We visited the members of the Church , the active and less active. We taught those interested in the Church. We work in the Temple every Wednesday morning. I visit four families. Attend all Church meetings.
