Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up working and performing in our family's western rodeo shows. From trick roping to clogging (and other fun stuff)....we always had something to 'practice' after school, keeping us non-stop busy. I enjoyed many years of singing with my sister Christy at church firesides and programs. I lived for Saturday night lds church dances, at which I actually met my husband at a young adult New Year's Eve dance. We have been married almost 22 years and have 3 daughters and 1 son. I enjoy outings with my family, going to the gym with my hubby, and look forward to our datenights each week. I am able to help support my family by sewing custom drapery out of my home. In my free time I enjoy playing hymns on my Dad's guitar, as it allows me to feel his love and remember wonderful times when he was alive. I know that we are an Eternal Family and because of that I will see him again someday.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born into this Church, I have developed my own testimony as to it's truthfulness. I am so grateful for the "Strength of Youth" program which supports my efforts in teaching my teenagers how to live 'in this world' without comprising their standards. As I learn about my Savior, Jesus Christ, and the sacrifice he made for me....my heart is softened. I pray daily for a heart full of Charity.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a secretary in the Young Women's program. (girls 12-18) I have 2 of my own daughters in Young Women's, and it's a blessing for me to be able to be there with them. Along with another sister in my ward, we visit 2 other women every month and share a message with them, and offer our assistance if they are ever in need. I feel my most important roll in living my Faith right now in my life is supporting my husband as he serves as Bishop of our Ward. I know our family is greatly blessed as we sacrifice the time that he is away serving the members of our Ward.
