Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mom & friend. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona and enjoy spending time playing with my family, reading books and traveling. I love to sing and to create. I graduated from ASU and love sports: especially sun devil football and dbacks baseball. I define myself by my relationships with others. To me, that is what life is all about: the people you get to share it with. I was blessed as a child with parents and siblings who loved and cared for me. I became an aunt when I was only 11; I love each one of my nieces & nephews. I've also been blessed to marry a wonderful man and have three amazing children. I LOVE being a mom! Chatting with friends, both old & new, is a favorite part of my day. But most importantly, I'm a Mormon. My relationship with my Heavenly Father & Savior, Jesus Christ, defines who I am and who I want to become. Without them, I wouldn't be ME.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home where I was taught the gospel by my parents, but I still had to choose for myself to be a Mormon. I remember as a youth not being sure about who I was or wanted to be. Then I began attending seminary as a freshman in highschool, and we studied the Book of Mormon. I took the challenge to study it daily, and I could not deny the spirit I felt. My testimony has continued to grow since that time 17 years ago. Each day I have the opportunity to make choices that help me to grow in the gospel: saying my prayers, reading the scriptures, attending Church and the temple, and serving others are just a few. I love my Savior and am grateful for all He has done for me. I try to live my life so I can become who He wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I love to learn and teach about the gospel. In our home we have a weekly family night so we can teach our children about Jesus Christ and help them learn to apply simple gospel principles in their lives. We also try to read together from the scriptures each day. We make it a priority to attend church together each Sunday as a family. We do this even when we are traveling so our children can recognize that weekly church attendance is important to our family. At church I currently serve in the Relief Society (our Church's worldwide women's organization) helping to oversee the planning of lessons, activities, and caring for individual's needs. I love working with and learning from the women around me. Whether it is in a Sunday meeting or a visit to another's home, I love to share my testimony of my Savior. I find that when I do this, my own faith is strengthened.
