Hi I'm Bec

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time student and work part time. I love music and Art. I enjoy seeing new things and finding cool new places to take my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in A.O.G churches as a little girl and always wondered if i was going to the right church. My family stopped going to church after a death but i always knew i needed to go back. I moved to Victoria and tried a few different churches but none felt good or worked out. New year eve 2010 - 2011 I made a decision that i would go back to church. I had been giving it a lot of thought and asked people from my area what was a good church to go to. I was confused and didn't want to join the wrong one again, so I prayed and asked God to let me know what church he wanted me to go to. Very soon after that the missionaries knocked on my friends door I knew God has sent them. I started lessons from there, did a lot of scripture study, online study of the church and a LOT of prayer. I got my answer and i knew the church was true. A month after my first meeting the missionaries I was baptised.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures as often as i can. I go to church every Sunday. I always research about the church online and in books. I write down questions and try find the answers or ask for help. I invite the missionaries over all the time. I downloaded apps on my iphone that help me learn and things i can listen to as well as watch. I watch Mormon messages and read the study guides to gain as much understanding as i can. In my church I am apart of teaching the youth and give talks and lessons to the womens groups. I like to oragnise things for the youth to do out side of the church. I do my best to live by the commandments and the word of wisdom, its not always easy but through prayer and sacrifice it gets easier. The Blessings far out weigh what I give up.
