Hi I'm Scott

I'm a simple American. I love my wife, sports, pizza and travelling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am about to celebrate my first anniversary with my best friend and cute wife and it has been the best year of my life. We enjoy travelling together and participating in sports (she even talked me into running my first marathon.) I work as an Attorney downtown and look forward to spending time at home in the evenings and weekends with my wife. We are even amateur ice cream makers!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is my greatest source of joy when times are good and source of peace when times are tough. The gospel helps me to forget all the worldly pulls and has taught me the values that uplift my life and bring true happiness. In my life as a Mormon, I have learned that serving others, especially in small in simple ways, truly brings me closer to my Savior and brings my life light and joy. Also in my life as a Mormon, I have learned that when I cling to the gospel, no matter what trials may come, I have a rock as my foundation and can make it through anything.

How I live my faith

I have learned being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is not a once a week thing. The gospel can and should envelope every moment of life. Fortunately, the more I have turned my life over to Christ, the more I seem to get in return in both blessings and happiness. For example, my wife and I like to make small gifts, treats and notes for other people. We hope that our small acts will be a bit of light in someone else's life that may truly need it. In the end though, the times that we have spent doing these things have been our most treasured moments.
