Hi I'm Barb

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six beautiful and wonderful children, a son and five daughters. I have (10) beautiful grandchildren. The Lord has truly blessed me with healthy children and grandchildren. I am proud of each one of them. My hobby is writing songs. I am a lyricist. I have written many types of songs. I have a CD of several of my songs I have written and collaborated with various musicians and singers to date. I have had my own business since 1995 doing paralegal consulting in many areas of law, as well as organizing and setting up business offices, filing systems, and management. I am happy to report my businesses are flourishing and love what I do. I owe all of my success to the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Jewish convert to the church of 37 years. I am so grateful and thankful that the Lord lead me to a member of the church who introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Mormon church is the only true church on this earth. I was totally in awe when my friend would talk to me about the Jospeh Smith story and the beliefs of the Mormon church. I knew when I heard all the stories about Joseph Smith and the beliefs of the Mormon Church, it all touched my heart deeply and I knew beyond a shadow of doubt that Joseph Smith was truly a latter-day prophet and the teachings of the Mormon church were all true and so close to my Jewish beliefs and background. There was always something missing in my Jewish beliefs and I didn't know what it was. I felt there had to be more in a religion than Jewish traditions. Before having the missionary discussions I knew in my heart that the Mormon church was the only true church on the earth and I desired to become a member immediately. The gospel of Jesus Christ was what was missing in my life. I believed everything the missionaries taught me were true. Every word I heard touched my very soul. I never for one moment questioned what was taught to me. I prayed fervently on my hands and knees to the Lord and asked the Lord if all that I was told and taught was true. The Lord answered my prayers in a loud thundering voice that the church was true and that I should join the Mormon church. I am from the tribe of Levi. I was told that this tribe out of the twelve tribes would be the one tribe to accept Jesus Christ readily and never question that Jesus Christ is the Jew's Messiah. I love the gospel with all of my heart. It has changed my entire life forever. I look forward to the day when my Jewish kinsmen will come to know that Jesus the Christ is their Messiah.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day of my life by example, by service, by worthiness in attending the House of the Lord, going to church on a regular basis and being worthy to partake of the sacrament each Sunday. I do the best that I can and more if need be. I have total and complete faith in receiving priesthood blessings whether it be a problem in my daily life that I have to deal with or a blessing of healing.
