Hi I'm Heidi

I grew up in Utah, and raised my family on the other side of country. I am a hospitality professional. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and love my husband with all my heart. I am a mom of 2 great young men. I work with the children in our church, and love knowing how much our Savior loves children. I am a hospitality professional and love being able to help families have vacations that they will remember and cherish forever. I am a daughter to two wonderful parents who I know love me. I am the big sister to three great siblings that I love so much.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life, but I still had to become converted. I have a great heritage of family members that walked across the Plaines of the United States to Utah. Some passed away along that journey, and their family members went on. This has always touched my heart to know that they sacrificed so much to give me the opportunity to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life through the Mormon Church. As I grew and searched the Bible and Book of Mormon I gained a testimony that Jesus is the Savior of the world that he has restored his Gospel on this earth. As an adult I continue to search and ponder the scriptures, they have helped me as I raised my children to make some of the hard decisions in life. The focus the Mormon Church puts on family has helped me to raise two wonderful young men who have chosen in life to become closer to their Savior and serve him. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has given me joy in my life. I have the opportunity to serve others each day. This is such a wonderful blessing. The church has helped me to build a loving and lasting relationship with my husband. One I know is eternal. I am the person I am today because of the Love my Savior has given me, and because as I follow the teachings of His Gospel in the Mormon church my life becomes more full of joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I have always felt that being a strong member of the community we live in is very important in life. In our community I have always worked closely with the schools as our children have grown. When they were in high school I served as booster club president for a year. My children have always loved doing sports, and getting to know all the wonderful families in our area and the parents of those that my children are friends with has been a wonderful blessing. We have made lasting friendships that will last forever. In my church I work with the children ages 18 months to 12 years old. I work with others who teach them a lesson each week that helps them to understand the Love their Savior has for them. Myself and two other mothers in our church work together to present a small lesson and singing time to the children that help them to understand why they are hear on this earth and what they can do, even as children, to serve their Savior. This wonderful opportunity to serve the children has blessed me with the knowledge that our Savior truly loves the little children. He has touched my heart with that same Love so that I might understand how much he truly cares for each and every one of us. We had the wonderful opportunity to do a service project where we gathered canned food for a local food bank. The children were so excited to help and serve that they gathered 30 cases of food for the shelter. This was so amazing to me that these little children had such a desire to help and serve others. Serving in my community and church has blessed me with wonderful life lasting friendships and knowledge of the Saviors love for each of us.
