Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Nebraska. I love running, dancing, singing, playing the clarinet, and spending time with family and friends. I go to college, work, and try to squeeze in a little time to relax. I also like to scrapbook, crochet, make clothing and bags, as well as quilt. My goal is to be happy and to serve others all throughout my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the feeling I get as I enter a Latter-Day Saint building. The spirit is so strong and I feel so at peace that I never want to leave. I never want that feeling of peace and happiness to leave me. I know that the feeling I get there is the spirit. Throughout my life I have learned to recognize the feeling and to see that when my life is heading in the direction it should that the spirit fills my soul. When I am not heading in the right direction that feeling is gone and I am sad. As I have grown closer to my Savior Jesus Christ through being a mormon and living my life as the Savior would I have seen joy and peace in my life.

How I live my faith

Knowing that Jesus Christ made it possible for me to be forgiven of my sins and having the church in my life brings such happiness. I try to share this happiness with others even if it is just a simple smile, I think that can go a long way. Serving others, with a simple hello, helping someone load their groceries, visiting someone who is sick, all help me see that as I live as Christ would have me live, the lives of others are blessed through me. My faith increases as I am led to people who really need my help and I am able to serve them and can see how much they really needed me.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Rebecca
The Holy Ghost is a part of the Godhead with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. All three have the same purpose, but all are separate beings. The Holy Ghost helps to testify of Christ and Heavenly Father, helps guide us to what is right, reveals the truth of things that are said, comforts us, and is always there with us as a constant companion as we listen and do what we are prompted to do.
