Hi I'm Brenda

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of four boys! I have been married for 23 years. I have done some online schooling, of which I would like to continue and get my associate degree. I am a school bus driver¸ a job in which I love. I love to read, scrapbook, and bake.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ. I know that he suffered for my sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. He bled and died for me, so that I can return and live with my Heavenly Father again. I love him for this. He is a wonderful example of how I need to live my life, and how I need to be compassionate and loving to everyone as he did. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that the words of that book are true. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I know that he was a true prophet of God, and that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet here on the earth and that he represents Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am thankful to be a member of the only true Church on the earth today. I love the Gospel with all of my heart, I love the teachings that I learn every week at church and I am grateful for the callings that I have to also help strengthen my testimony. I am grateful for parents who taught me right from wrong. I am grateful for the priesthood to bless my life and my family’s life. I know these things to be true because I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and he has answered my prayers.

How I live my faith

I have the wonderful opportunity to work with the youth, (young women) ages 14-15. I love this calling; I am able to teach them on Sundays and also activities on Wednesdays. I am also a visiting teacher, I have four women whom I visit each month to check on them and give them a short lesson in their home. I go with another woman in my ward and we take turns making appointments and giving the lesson.
