Hi I'm Cody

I grew up in a small town in the great state of Arizona and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up playing all kinds of team sports. I have always enjoyed playing football from an early age. My favorite thing in life is to be a husband and most recently a brand new Dad! We love to go camping, hiking, SCUBA diving and all things outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

While I grew up in the Church and have always been a member I still consider myself a convert to the Church. My family has always been divided on the subject of religion. My father was a German immigrant and has always been Catholic. My mother was the first Mormon on our side of the family. My spiritual conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ came as a junior in high school. Up until this point I had never read and prayed about the Book of Mormon, which is another testament or testimony of Jesus Christ. Starting that year I read the Book of Mormon and other volumes of scriptures. Through the scriptures I have come to know that I have a Father in Heaven. That I have purpose here on earth. I also came to know that I have a savior who is Jesus Christ and who has redeemed me from death and hell. I also gained an absolute knowledge that the Book of Mormon is indeed the word of God. I also believe the Bible to be the word of God. This knowledge has changed my life. I grew up filled with anxiety and worry. Because of the church, and my knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ I am filled with joy beyond words. At times I still have some feelings of anxiety, but now I have the spiritual tools to help me find peace. I know that through Jesus Christ I will be saved again, and that my young and tender family will be saved and sealed together for all eternity. To the reader that is reading this its possible you may not know who I am, but I want you to know that this church and gospel of Jesus Christ are true and complete.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the youth in our neighborhoods that are 12-14 years old. I am active in the Boy Scouts of America. Monthly I visit 2 families one of which is a single mother of 2. I try to visit with them often to see that all of their needs are met.
