Hi I'm Doug

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Arizona and I live there with my family of five children, two of which are still at home.

About Me

I am an attorney. I graduated from BYU with a degree in political science. I attended ASU for law school. I am married with 5 children. Our oldest daughter is married and we have two grandchildren. We love having grandchildren!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have been a member all of my life. I love attending church on Sundays and learning about Jesus Christ and his gospel. I know He lives and I know He died for me so that I can repent of my sins and return to live with him.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a Bishop in my ward. A ward is a congregation of members from about 250 to 750 members. A Bishop is the pastor or the head of the ward. We have a lay ministry which means that we all serve without receiving any kind of pay. We also pay on tenth of our income to the church. I love the obedience of the members in my ward. Their dedication in paying tithing inspires me. I love serving as Bishop. There are hard times but the good times far outweigh the hard times.
