Hi I'm Amy

I was born and raised in Idaho, now call Nebraksa home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a semi-new mother of an amazing little girl, 7 months old. She keeps mom busy when I'm not at work, as a bank teller. My husband may be gone for work a lot but loves to spend time with his girls! I played softball/baseball from tee-ball to my senior yr of high school. I went to BYU-Idaho and served a mission for the Mormon church in Pennsylvaina. I like to take photos, my phone is full of baby pictures! I like to be outside when I can and spending time with people I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to the Mormon church but once I was in college I realized that I needed to decide if what I had been learning and doing since I was a young child was what I wanted to continue to do and learn. After having a confirmation of the truth I chose to serve as a missionary, to help others learn of the truthfulness. I know that God has a plan for each of us, His children, even though we aren't always able to understand why or what. He has given us a prophet to lead and guide us, just as He did in Biblical times. Though I may have had a confirmation in college, when I lived in Palmyra, NY I was able to recieve another confirmation that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is once again on the Earth.

How I live my faith

I work with the children of the church, they are so very pure and honest. When they feel the Spirit of the Lord I can see it in their eyes and in their actions. Not only am I an example to these small spirits I'm also an example everyday to those I work with and those I come in contact with. It's not just on Sunday that I try my best to be a believer.
