Hi I'm Emily

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a second-year college student studying Geographic Information Systems and minoring in Spanish. I seek out new knowledge and am passionate about learning! Reading, baking, and hanging out with friends fill spare hours between my studies and work. Having played the piano for many years, music is my way of expressing emotions. I love to explore and play in the great outdoors and appreciate our Heavenly Father's beautiful creations. Fall is my favorite time of the year, and any holiday is a reason to celebrate. I believe that optimism can take you anywhere! My name is Emily, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness that the gospel's eternal truths bring. My testimony that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ lives, that families can be together forever, that there is a prophet on the earth today, and that the Book of Mormon and Bible are the words of God continues to be molded by day-to-day experiences and daily communication with my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday as I wake up and consciously decide to pray, read my scriptures, and continue to obey the commandments. Through my interactions with non-member friends as I choose not to swear, drink, or hang out on Sundays, I live my faith and share my testimony with others. I am living my faith as I attend a religiously affiliated university. I live my faith by serving others at church and in my family. I live my faith by leading a life that does not contradict my testimony.
