Hi I'm Roxanne

I was born into a great Mormon family. I have a wonderful husband and two great children with families of their own.

About Me

I like to garden and plant lots of perrenials so our yard is filled with color. I also enjoy doing counted cross stitch. I graduated from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah with a degree is Medical Technology. I've worked in that field for over 30 years. Our family has had a variety of pets in the past - from fish to an Afghan hound to Seal Point and Lilac Point Siamese cats. We currently have a blue fronted amazon parrot and 4 love birds.

Why I am a Mormon

Christ has given us a great example in how to live our lives. The church helps me to be more Christ like. It offers guidance in this world of trials and tribulations. I'm so thankful that we have a prophet like in the Bible to receive revelation and gives us counsel on problems of our day.

How I live my faith

This church is not just a Sunday church. I live the beliefs seven days a week. Our ward is currently doing a service project in going to our neighbors and asking for dontions for a local food bank. Their shelves are low on food but the demand is high. We visited with neighbors on our block and were able to collect items for the food bank. I've helped to organize some great activities for our members - from a fun Fall Festival with a pumpkin carving contest to a dutch oven and rib cookout. Service is important in our church. If you see that someone has a need you try to fill that - whether they are a member of the church or not.
