Hi I'm Gary Gustafson Jr.

I work in a computer lab at a mental health center in Aurora, Colorado. I served as a volunteer Missionary. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a 43 year old single adult. I grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, went to college at the University of Wyoming. I like TV, movies, and books. I also like to talk about religion and politics. I try to ride my bike from time to time though I need to get in shape. I lived in Arlington, Virgina just outside DC for about a year. I went on a two year volunteer mission in the Boston, Mass. area. I've traveled to Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, though I was inactive for about ten years before I decided to serve a full time mission when I was 23. I am a Mormon because I have never found any other religion that helps me feel closer to God and Jesus Christ. I love the morals of my church, and enjoy fellow shipping with other people who have the same desire to serve God and their fellow man. I know that God is real and I feel the whisperings of the Holy Ghost in my life, and I also feel God's hand in my life. I can't imagine being anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best Christian I can be. I am my congregation's website administrator and I help visit members as a home teacher. I also try to share the gospel with my friends. I try to pray often, to study the scriptures, and to be a good friend, and a good citizen, and a true disciple of Christ.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Gary Gustafson Jr.
I believe that we live this life to learn what we need to know and experience so that we can return to live with God and Jesus Christ in our heavenly family. I believe that our bodies are like weights that exercise our spirits, and help us to become more Christ like. I believe that the trials in life, and the experiences we have are part of a bigger plan to teach us what we need to learn to become more like our savior, and God, his father. One day I hope to be resurrected and live again with my family and friends in Gods presence. I believe this is what life is all about. Show more Show less
