Hi I'm Carol

Born and raised in Colorado. Love all the activities there are to do here. Hiking, biking, skiing, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to 8 children, two of my own and 6 step children. I also have 7 very precious grandchildren. I was remarried almost two years ago to the man I have always dreamt about. I am getting ready to start college in a career in nursing. Something that I have always wanted to do but other choices lead me other ways all these years. In my spare time I love to hike, ride my back, even exercise if you can believe that. Mostly I love spending time with my family, especially those grandkids. I am a pretty young grandma so it makes it fun to be able to do many things with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church meaning I haven't always been Mormon. But it is the best decsion I ever made in my life. I joined because it made absolute perfect sense to me. I was taught about the Plan of Savaltion and how my Heavenly Father and Savior loves me. I was taught about repentence and how even a sinner like me can be forgiven and live a life that can bring peace, happiness and joy. I love being Mormon because it gives me the direction and focus i need to be a good person, Not just a good person but one who loves her Father in Heaven and Savior so much that I just want to exemplify everything that they are. It made such a difference in who I am. I love the person I am now. I didn't before. I love having free agency, the right to choose between right and wrong ,but the ultimate desire to please My Father in Heaven which makes my choices easy. These choices free me from pain and sorrow. Don't get me wrong I still have trials, I still have temptations but i know these things become easier and more manageable as my faith and knowledge in the Savior grows. I know that God lives and loves us. I know that we can return to live with him if we desire to and act upon it. I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the over the women's organization in our church with the help of some direction from our Bishop. I have two counelors that help me in this work. I truly love doing this as it gives me the opportunity to serve the sister's and to truly get to know them. I see their love for the Savior and it helps to build my testimony. We are blessed to be able to do many things for the sister's and sometimes it just makes my day. Other days can be crazy but Heavenly Father always manages to give me the strength I need to accomplish the things that he knows are important.
