Hi I'm Mark

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four boys and my wife and I have been married for 25 years. I served a mission in northern Mexico and graduated from Brigham Young University. My employment has taken me all over the world. My family and I have lived all over the United States and Australia. I enjoy camping, watching college football, baking pies and buying woodworking tools.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family in southern California. My mother, a recent convert to the Church, tried her best to teach my brother and sister and I the gospel. It was not until we moved to a small town in southern Colorado that my father had any interest in the Church. Through the fellowship and example of the members of the small ward there, my father started attending Church with us and was baptized. Through this experience and many others, I have come to know that life is not just a bunch of random events. Heavenly Father has a plan for each one of us. He has provided us with a Savior who has atoned for our sins. This gives me great comfort and hope that I can return and live with Him some day.

How I live my faith

In the Church their are many opportunities to serve. Some are formal callings and others are not. I currently assist in organizing our Sunday meetings and asking members to serve in various assignments. Informally, some of my favorite memories are bringing my sons along to help families move into their new homes.
