Hi I'm Wendell

I was born in Salt Lake. My great, great, great, grandfather was the first in my family to join the Church in 1832. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy the outdoors and being with friends and family. I have been married to my dear wife for 39 years and I am a father of three and grandfather of 9. My family is my most important thing in this life. I enjoy working with my hands and building things. I find satisfaction in a "Job well done". I work in the facility management field and find it to be exciting to find and fix problems in buildings.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church and learned of the saving principles of the Gospel as a youth. Like many I came to a point in my life as a teenager where I determined to find out for myself if this was the correct thing for me to do. As I studied and prayed about the choice of following the beliefs taught to me by my parents, I received an answer to my prayers that this really was the way to happiness in this life and the life to come.

How I live my faith

My family is most important to me and I strive to do those things that will allow me to be wtih them always. I strive to live a Christ like life and treat others as He would treat them. I enjoy serving in the church as it allows me to share my beliefs and see the difference the Gospel makes in myself and others. I find fulfillment in following the teachings of the Savior who said, He that looseth his life in the service of others shall find it.
