Hi I'm Cindy

I was born in Utah, raised in New Mexico and now live back in Utah. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the church all of my life, however my family was not active when i was young. I started going to church as a teenager and have been active since. Now I have a wonderful husband, three fabulous children who have brought three more wonderful people into our family and nine adorable grandchildren. They are my joy. I love to cook, sew, read, and do crafts. I love the outdoors, walking and riding my bike. I love serving with my husband in a young married ward. We have been married for more than thirty years. I look forward to eternity together.

Why I am a Mormon

My family was not active when I was growing up. As a young teenager I started going to church and saw the blessings of living the gospel. Because of this I knew that when i married I wanted a good priesthood holder to share my life with. I was blessed to find my wonderful husband. We raised three children in a gospel centered home. Now we share our home with our children and thier families and it is still very much gospel centered. I would never want to try and navigate through life without the help of my Heavenly Father. All has not been perfect but I know it has been so much better because I have tried to follow the teachings of the gospel and have always had the knowledge that no matter how rough life gets I have a safe place to go in the gospel and my family and a Heavenly Father that loves me.

How I live my faith

I have served in many, many capasities in the church through my life. My favorite is probably working iwth the young children. Right now my husband is the bishop of a young married student ward. I serve with him as we try to help these young families as they start thier lives together. What a blessing it is to get to know these young couples and to share in their joys. It doesn't really matter where I serve, i just always feel better when I know I am serving and helping others.
