Hi I'm R.J.

A Wyoming Cowboy Living in Texas

About Me

I have rarely been afraid of change. It can be hard to embrace change, but I have found that change, more often than not, has brought opportunities for development, love and faith. Change caused me to develop my testimony of the Savior. Change took me to Oklahoma where I met my beautiful wife. Change blessed me with twin children. Change has led me to become the person I am today. My family means everything to me. As we work together and grow as a family, we cannot help but realize the blessings of the restored gospel and show our gratitude towards our Heavenly Father for making all of this possible!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints make me a better person, draw my family closer during times of happiness and sorrow, and help me find direction in a world that has very little direction.

How I live my faith

Agency is a gift from Heavenly Father. Everyone has their agency to choose. I live my faith by honoring people's agency, while ensuring my example causes others to take notice of how I exercise my agency. I have been "lost" and I have been "found" through the intervention of the Savior and by exercising faith in him. I know that my Redeemer lives and that he lives in this Faith!

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

R.J.
Many of us pray for faith to change our lives when in reality if we will just take a step towards Christ we will find that the action of stepping towards Christ strengthens our faith. This will be evident in your own life when you realize the good that came to your life by taking that one step. As we strengthen our faith by moving towards the Savior, we will come to the realization that it was the act of doing something that strengthened us, not merely the request of an all knowing and all powerful God to do it for us. Faith is action. Show more Show less
