Hi I'm Pete

I'm a Brother, Friend and I love backpacking.

About Me

I've become a person that loves to have fun. Whether it be a game of basketball, biking, hiking, long boarding, or just being a friend I love to have fun. I am a college student at Utah State University. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member but it wasn't until one of my close friends died when I was 15 that I began to wonder what our purpose here really is. It was a week of tears for me, and memories. I began to realize after his example to me is that we are here to help others and bring others closer to Jesus Christ through our example. I have had near death experiences after this that if I hadn't had this experience I would've held it in and been angered and hardened. I feel my saviors love, every week, every day. I know he loves me and I feel it most when I am serving the Lord, my family, friends and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I attend Church meetings every Sunday, and when I can go to church activities during the week, it keeps me going. I also study my scriptures every day and try to find ways to share it with others. I stay true to what my parents and leaders have taught me.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

One of the commandments is to love thy neighbor as thyself. Our neighbors are everybody. I have many friends who are not a member of this Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, that I would help when ever I could. Show more Show less
