Hi I'm Misty

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California. I am a stay-at-home mom with four kids.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom who sells Lia Sophia jewelry on the side. I love to play volleyball and softball. I love to sew when I can find some free time, which is never! I am on a Relay for Life Team and am involved in a lot of fundraising for The American Cancer Society. I probably spend most of my time driving my kids everywhere from seminary to football, ice skating, volleyball and every school activity known to man.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8-years old but we didn't go to church that often. When I got older we started going more regularly. I suppose I continue to go to church because I want my kids to know that they are children of God and to learn to principles and values that I think are important. I believe everyone knows the difference between right and wrong but it helps to continue on the right path when you are going to church every week and the activities you are involved in are centered around Jesus Christ. It is easier to continue to make good choices when you have a relationship with your Heavenly Father and I want that for my children.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being a good example to those around me. Most of my friends are not members of the church but they know that I am a Latter-Day-Saint and they know what values I believe in.
