Hi I'm Steven

I live in Arizona. I own an insurance agency. I love to build things. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my wife and my children and now my grandchildren. It's been so wonderful to watch them grow and start new families of their own.  I own and operate a small insurance agency selling all kinds of insurance, but primarily to doctors. I love to build things and work around the yard. We have an acre so we can have animals and there is always something to do. It keeps us busy. It's also pretty fun for the grandkids when they come to go out and feed the chickens and gather the eggs. I also enjoy playing the guitar and singing, and playing racquetball. I don't enjoy running too much just for the sake of running, but I do like to get outdoors and work or take long walks.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't remember a time when I didn't believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It seems I was born with a strong faith in God, a knowledge that He knows me and loves me, and I have had many assurances that my choice to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been the right choice. These feelings have been bolstered by the life, teachings, and examples of my wonderful parents. How comforting it is to know that I can help my ancestors by doing work for them in the Temple, and to know that I can be with my family and those I love after this life. Life is good because I know God is aware of me and what I need. I'm so thankful I can pray to Him and that I know He will hear and answer my prayers. I'm thankful for the atonement of Jesus Christ and that He has shown me the way to return to my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I've been privileged to serve the Lord for 2 years in Japan many years ago. I currently serve by helping those in my community, but contributing to many charitable causes, and by teaching music to about 75 children between the ages of 7 and 12. I look forward to a time in the future when I can again go out and serve the Lord on a mission with my dear sweet wife.
