Hi I'm Stephanie

I am a Mormon! I am a proud Mother of 4 sons. My husband and sons are my full time job! I love it!

About Me

I grew up in a small farming community. My father is a cotton farmer. I was raised with the thought that I could do anything I set my mind to do. As a teen, I excelled in sports (volleyball, basketball, tennis), participated in dance teams, became proficient at the piano, enjoyed band and choir, and getting good grades. I attended college and participated in many fun activities. One of these activities was competing in pageants. I earned scholarship monies to help me through my studies. I have a degree in English Education with a minor in music piano performance. I married the love of my life and best friend. We have 4 sons and I am enjoying the opportunity that I have to spend my days with them and learning from them. They truly are a joy in my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a life long member of the church. My knowledge of Heavenly Father's plan for me has given me much hope and joy. Knowing that I am literal daughter of our Heavenly Father has given me confidence in myself and my choices. I know that God loves me. I know that he knows me. I know that is is aware of me and my circumstances. I know that through his Son, Jesus Christ, I can be reunited with my Heavenly Father. I know that I can talk to him and he will hear. I am grateful to know that

How I live my faith

I am lucky to teach teen age girls in my area. Every week we spend time together learning how to be productive in the world and in the home. We learn sewing, cooking, entertaining. We discuss schooling, careers, and service to each other and our community. We practice serving each other, by supporting those who have extra curricular activities and buoying those that may not feel strong. We discuss gospel topics every Sunday and feel of The Spirit of God. Our girls participate in setting goals and then acting on them and reporting them. This summer, our girls were able to attend Girls Camp. This is a place where we are able to rely on each other, without telephones, texting, computers, etc. To be in nature is always a great way to think about God's creations, but it is also a place where much fun is had, and lifelong friends are made. I feel blessed to serve these young women. They are incredible and I just want to remind them every time I see them that they are daughters of God. They have importance and meaning in God's plan.
