Hi I'm Megan

I love laughing and helping others and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia but am currently serving the Lord for 18 months in Fresno, California. I truly love life. I love to laugh and enjoy what life brings... the more random the better. I am passionate about photography and animals and hoodies. My family means the world to me. I am one of six kids and have 10 nieces and nephews who are absolutely adorable. I know that as Michael Mclean's cheesy song states, "We can be together forever someday." That is a truth I hold dear and while it is hard to be away from my family I know that I am not with them for 18 months so that I can teach other families how they can be with theirs for eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found that fully embracing the gospel of Jesus Christ in its beautiful simplicity is what leads to a gratifying and joyful life. Life is not without its challenges, but we have been given all the tools and resources we need from our loving Heavenly Father to succeed and to find peace. I am forever grateful for my parents' faithfulness in teaching me the ways of Jesus Christ. While I was brought up in the church, I had to make a conscious effort to know for myself that what I was being taught was true. I can't say that that happened all at once. But the knowledge I have of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has come piece by piece and I can say with a surety that I know that it is true, as assuredly as I know that the sky is blue.

How I live my faith

For these 18 months I am living my faith by going out each and every day and teaching people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I want all to feel of the peace and joy that I feel in knowing that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and who has provided a way for everlasting joy. I strive to be an instrument in the Lord's hands and follow the things that He would have me do to bless His precious children here in this part of His vineyard.
