Hi I'm Mary

I was born and raised in Monticello Ny. I moved to Ut at age 16 ..I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with 6 children aged 8 to 25. I'm a grandma to 2 grandsons, ages 4, and 5. I love to read , travel, movies, I love to learn about other countries, I love American history and i love Family history. I have been doing family history more than 25 years . I like interior decorating , organizing and planning fun things for the family to do. I have been a member 26 years ... and I love it !

Why I am a Mormon

I learned about this church due to my childhood idol , Donny Dsmond. Who knew one day i would be a member :) I joined this church because it was the most closest to the teachings of Jesus Christ, with apostles, Prophets etc . i was 19 and it seemed to me like it would benefit me. My family were not supportive of my decision and to this day there seems to be a fracture in family relationships. But i would not change it for the world, i would do it all over again. The strength I get going to church and associating with the members there , over the last 26 years has made me a better person. To have the knowledge that I have received through study, prayer etc has carried me through the most darkest times in my life. Its hard to explain you just need to experient it. There is a God , who loves us, who knows each one of us individually , who looks after us with tenderness of heart. i have learned these things and so many others by being a member of this church.

How I live my faith

In my ward I am a family history consultant , I help people seek after and learn of their ancestors. I also a m a visiting teacher, i visit 3 sisters in our ward and am sort of Heavenly Fathers hands on earth. if theres a need i am able to help the sisters I visit . Our womens group does much service that I participate in, whether in be to take in a meal to a mom whose just had a new baby, or to gather tolitries for natural disasters, the sisters of our church are there and compile the needed items in record time.
