Hi I'm Darwin

I am a father of 6 married children, grandfather (Papa) of 22, husband of a beautiful wife and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a simple man who loves to be around family and friends. If you ask me to go somewhere, I would probably beat you to the car - I love to travel. I have been active all of my life and enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hiking, scuba diving, basketball, and horse shoes and many others. My background is construction.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found no better way to raise a family than through the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The family is central to God's Eternal Plan. I was born into the church and raised by parents who knew the importance of family. When I got married I could see that the example that was set for me was the one that I wanted for my own family and so I continued in my religion and have never looked back. My own children are now all raised and have started their own families. I can see that the values taught to me and in turn that I and my wife taught to them are now in the same tradition and we can now see a chain being formed of families that are tied together by the same teachings for the eternities. Teachings of the love of God, family and country.

How I live my faith

I serve actively in the church and attend every week. I believe that Jesus Christ taught us how to live and to serve others by his perfect example. I try to follow that example and to be what He would want me to be.
