Hi I'm Alison

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a busy, happy, single adult. I love my family and I love to work - which is a good thing - because we have a family construction company that allows us to spend lots of time together. My brother is my best friend and one of my greatest examples. I enjoy watching sports, playing games, going to Disneyland, baking, smiling, playing the piano, and spending time with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace and joy I feel as I follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. I'm grateful for Joseph Smith and for the restoration of the Gospel. The scriptures - the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God. As I have studied and prayed throughout my life, the Holy Ghost has testified that these things are true. I know that I am a daughter of God, that He knows me, loves me, and wants what is best for me. I have found that happiness comes from being obedient.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church. I have the opportunity to play the piano and organ at various church meetings. I am also blessed and humbled to work in the young women's organization of the church. We have lessons every Sunday and have fun activities every Wednesday night. The youth are given opportunities to serve others and develop leadership skills. I try to live a Christ-centered life - by doing things the Savior would if He were here - by serving others, treating others with respect and kindness, by being honest, and by reaching out to those in need. I have been blessed by so many in my life, that I try to be a blessing in someone else's life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps me to be the best person I can be.
