Hi I'm Holly

I'm a Nurse Practitioner who works with underserved patients, especially low income and Spanish-speaking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 35 years old. I've never been married. I own my own home and enjoy decorating it. I like hiking in the Cascades, reading, and spending time with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents starting taking our family to church when I was 7, so I grew up with it. There was a time during college when I really struggled with whether I wanted to keep going to church. I never really doubted the truth of what was taught, but didn't feel like I really belonged. There are still times when I don't want to go to church on Sunday, but I know what the church teaches is true and that's where my Heavenly Father and Savior want me to be, so I keep going.

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday School to a group of 9-year-olds. They are so much fun! I'm really impressed with how much these children know about Jesus and their thoughtful answers to how the teachings relate to their lives. I'm also the camp director for a group of teenage girls. It was a lot of work getting ready - preparations started in January and camp wasn't until June. We spent a week together this last summer and it was wonderful to see them learn new things and grow closer to the Lord as they enjoyed his beautiful creations.
