Hi I'm Colleen

I'm a Mormon. I grew up along the West coast between California and Washington. I am grateful to know that I am a child of God.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of grown children, an Aunt and Sister whom I love spending time with. I currently work for our local Utility Company and provide Office Support to my dept. I love cooking and baking, the outdoors, traveling and most of all Palm Trees, Sandy beaches and Sunshine! I love spending time with my sweetheart and we love planning trips together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I have always known the gospel of Jesus Christ is true, but I still needed to have my own conversion and truly know for myself what I had been taught by my parents and at church was true! I was 23 and going thru a some difficult times in my life, I began reading and studying the Book of Mormon more often and praying and pleading to the Lord for help and answers. I recall one day knowing with out a doubt the answers that came to me so clear I knew it was from my Heavenly Father, helping me through this trial in my life and bringing such a feeling of peace that everything would be alright. And it was! I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the gospel is one of my most precious gifts I have and can share. I am thankful everyday for God's blessings in my life and his constant care he gives me and my family.

How I live my faith

Within our faith we have a women's organization that I love being a part of and working with the sisters and leaders in this group. For the past 3yrs I have had the opportunity to teach once a month. I have recently been released from that position, but still have an active participation in visiting with our sisters and getting to know all of them through wonderful activities planned throughout the year and the joy we have of meeting together each Sunday! Along with that, work and home obligations, I strive to read, study and always pray. I am thankful to be a part of a ward family, especially when most of my family lives in another state.
