Love gardening and horticulture. bottle our own fruits and vegetables. raise our own beef, our own milk and eggs. Have acre property with calves, milk goat, and chickens. Quite self sufficient. Love having daily family prayer and scripture study. Sunday, the day of rest without TV is our great day for worship, relaxation, and family time. No sunday is complete without popcorn and watching church videos of Bible and Book of Mormon Stories. We look forward to being together throughout the eternities not only as husband and wife, but as an eternal family unit with our Father in Heaven and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

originally I have been raised in a four generation mormon family. I have felt the promptings of the Spirit and knew I had to find out for myself if what this church taught, was truly the truth from our Father in Heaven. I read the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and other church books while fasting and praying to KNOW if what I was studying was what My Father in Heaven wanted me to do. I had the overwhelming feeling that it is all TRUE. That I must stay close to its teachings. The Mormon church is the only church that can answer my question as to who I am and where I am going and my relationship to my Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ. This church gives me hope and a definite plan for my personal happiness and that of my family, I know that continuing revelation through a living prophet is necessary for us today in this deterioriating earth. I am happy to know what God would have me do to bring me true and eternal happiness through my efforts and ultimately through the Atonement and Resurrection of My Savior, Jesus Christ. He Lives. His church teaches me that. I feel His love and the promptings of the Holy Ghost felt only through His true church which carries His name

How I live my faith

My life revolves around the churh. I give some kind of personal service almost daily. I attend the temple at least weekly. I volunteer three days a week at the local family history center helping people find their ancesters.I have personal prayer at least morning and night and try to have daily scripture study personally and with family around the breakfast table. I pay my tythes and offerings, share my bounties with neighbors and fiends. I do extensive family history work to know of the sacrifices that ancestors have made to make me who i am who have given me the opportunities that my Faith has provided me. My Faith and Hope in Jesus Christ make it all possible. Without that hope and His love, atonement, forgiveness, and resurection , why would I want to try. My faith lets me know what to expect if I do my part. It brings me happiness in obedience and sadness for the blood He had to give to pay for my sins
