Hi I'm Margo

I live in Arizona, mother of 7, grandmother of 4 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am so happy to have been able to stay home to raise a family. I've gone to college off and on during those years. We have one child left at home and I enjoy doing many things with children - scouts, playdates, bbq's etc. Encouraging children to be their best is my favorite "hobby", along with cycling, genealogy, and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always known and believed in God. As a young adult, I was struggling, looking for happiness and peace. When I met the missionaries and did the "simple" things, like prayer, reading scriptures, being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, doing good toward others, my life began to change. I became happier, found peace, made new friends that truly wanted to help me. But most important of all, I became closer to Christ and Heavenly Father. I began to have a relationship with them. I will never walk away from that bond. I love them and best of all, I know they love me. I don't want to disappoint them. Being Mormon, helps me stay strong when the difficult times come. Once I knew the truth, I had to live it and try everyday to be a better person. As a result, I have more happiness and peace - more than I had ever hoped for. I have now been a Mormon for 27 years - it's the longest committment I have made!

How I live my faith

I have participated in various ways the past 27 years. Much of it was teaching children and adults. Currently I am involved with the Boy Scouts. Helping and guiding young men is a sacred position that I take seriously. It is a new experience for me. One that I rely on my faith heavily to guide me in ways to benefit the youth. I am never alone. I believe that one of our top purposes for being here is to help others and lead them to Christ. In working with the youth, I help "tomorrow". I try to reach out to friends and neighbors "today" to help carry their burdens. My desire to serve in my own little corner of the globe, comes from the perfect example we all have - Jesus Christ our elder brother. It is his love for me, and my love for him and God, that motivates me to be the best I can. In doing so, my happiness increases daily. I am always the beneficiary of blessings.
