Hi I'm Kris Tolman

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of nine children. I like to cook. I also like to play the piano and teach all of my children how to play. I sing and love music in many different forms. I love anything crafty that I can use my creativity for. I am in two book clubs that have helped me to get to know a lot of different people from all walks of life. I also play volleyball two nights a week to stay active and to hang out with some more amazing people.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in th church, I have made the decision to be a Mormon because I have learned for myself that this is the true church. I have had many experiences where I cannot deny that there is a loving Heavenly Father that watches over me and leads me to where I need to be in this life. I have tried to obey each of the commandments and have seen the blessings that come from obedience to them. I have gotten to know the Savior personally and I strive each day to live up to His standards.

How I live my faith

I serve in whatever capacity I can in the church. I try to serve those in my neighborhood that are in need. I serve the other Sisters in my ward who are in need. I play the piano for the youth. I have also served as a Public Affairs representative in the community, helping to organize Teacher Appreciation dinners for Seniors who are graduating and organizing community preparedness Fairs to teach people about being prepared for natural disasters or other unexpected life circumstances. I have gathered food for the Task Force in our community and I serve at the assisted living center.
