Hi I'm Collin Hall

Im a born and raised Texan. I love to play the guitar. I love the Dallas Cowboys. Im a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Texas. I am a Texan that is very proud of his state. I have been singing my whole life and have been very lucky to have shared that talent with others and been blessed to travel and sing in some of the most beautiful places in the world. I dabble at playing guitar. I have only been playing for about 2 years but it is something that i have come to love and hope to continue to get better and share that with others also. I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the beautiful state of Hawaii. I am absolutely addicted to watching sports, especially football. I am a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and Oklahoma State Cowboys fan. If im watching TV it is most likely going to be sports. I have an amazing family that is very supportive of me and all that I do.

Why I am a Mormon

Originally, I was a Mormon because that is how I was raised. But There was a point in my life that I questioned not only the Mormon faith, but Faith in general. So I had to decide if I believed or if I didnt. It was that simple. There wasnt an exact moment in my life where I can say that I was converted and suddenly had faith. My faith and my love for our Heavenly Father came very slowly and at unexpected moments. It came through studying and most importantly, pray. Pray mends the heart. There is nothing as relaxing as pouring your soul out to your Heavenly Father. Through those moments is when questions are answered and faith is turned from a "wanting" to a "knowing". Through all those moments, I have come to find that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God, along with the Bible. I know that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and restored the The Church of Jesus Christ to this earth. Last, but not least, I learned of the healing power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. No matter how far we have fallen, we can climb back up. It will take time, it will even seem hopeless for some. But carefully, and depending wholly upon our Savior Jesus Christ, we can be lifted inch by inch until we are safely and securely in his arms. Jesus Christ didn't die for the righteous, he died to strengthen those with feeble knees and to lift the hands that hang low. At some point in our lives, that will be us. It was me, and I was changed by the love of Jesus Christ. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

At this point in my life I am living my faith more than I ever have before. Like I said before, I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ. Never before have I striven so hard to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be like him. I figure that there is no better way to live your faith than to be an Disciple of Jesus Christ and represent him in all things that you do. I now think not of myself, but of those around me. By striving to serve as many people as I can and hearing their stories, I have learned to love each person I see. As i serve, I get to glimpse the love that Heavenly Father has for each of his children. He does love us, and I have the opportunity to help people feel that love, just by the way that I live my own faith.
